Dollar Changes Hands in Mid-112 Yen Zone in Early Trade in Tokyo-Sep 21
 

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the mid-112 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, following a leap to a near two-month high overnight in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 112.55-56 yen compared with 112.15-25 yen in New York and 111.39-40 yen at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1873-1874 dollars and 133.62-63 yen against 1.1890-1900 dollars and 133.39-49 yen in New York and 1.1998-1200 dollars and 133.65-69 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
